Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Responds to Border Security Bill – Idle No More

A recently proposed United States legislation HR 455 calls for a security study to be conducted on the US-Canadian Border, within the traditional territory of the Akwesasne. However, the Mohawk Council of the Akwesasne government have not been consulted nor made notice of this new proposal as led by US Representative John Katko.
