A large Idle No More march and rally is held in Ottawa with thousands of indigenous peoples from many different nations and with dozens of Canadian non-profits and unions standing with Idle No More.

“That Was The Most Amazing Day I have ever been apart of. We Gathered in Peace. We Gathered In Solidarity. We Stood Proud and Tall. We Spoke in Truths. December 21st 2012, to me, will always be remembered as, the Day I stood up, with all of you, in a We rally. We did this. We set the stage for the world to listen and really hear us. Pride, Peace, Solidarity, will forever be in my Heart, and Mind when I look back upon this day. We, the Grassroots, our Leadership & Non Natives shared a stage, shared our ideas, shared the Love of Our Peoples, and most importantly shared our Love of Turtle Island.”
